Online Course Proposals
Oregon State Ecampus offers funding and a high level of support for the development of new online courses and for the redevelopment of existing online courses.
Key information:
- Please submit course development proposals by the deadlines below.
- Online course development or redevelopment occur over a two-term timeline and includes participation in a funded course development or redevelopment workshop.
- Funding transfers are from department to department; Ecampus does not hire or pay faculty directly.
- Courses must be developed and taught in Canvas, OSU’s learning management system.
- Courses are designed and developed collaboratively. Faculty partner with Ecampus instructional designers, training professionals and multimedia developers to create well-designed, effective learning experiences for students.
- Ecampus recommends the redevelopment of online courses approximately every three years.
