Program details
The online data analytics master’s program integrates Oregon State's strengths in statistics, computer science, mathematics, policy and applied sciences such as genomics. The online courses include content on Python, SAS, C+ and R. No prior knowledge in Python, SAS or C+ is needed, and a basic introduction to R is assumed.

Prerequisite course
There is one prerequisite course for the data analytics master’s program: ST 351 – Introduction to Statistical Methods. This course includes training in basic statistics and an introduction to programming in statistical software. In addition to these skills, we expect incoming students to have basic computational skills at the level of college algebra.
Oral examination and capstone project
