MAST 201 – Humans and the Ocean (3)

Explores marine systems and the diverse ways humans engage with the ocean through liberal arts perspectives. Integrates approaches from marine science, social science, and the arts and humanities. Examines both historic and current ocean and coastal challenges, including conservation, pollution, coastal community resilience, climate change, and environmental justice, gaining valuable insights that enhance scientific understanding of the ocean. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
